Q & A deadline: Jan 18, 2022 7:00:00 AM MST This solicitation is being issued by the Salt Lake City School District (SLCSD) as a Two-Stage Solicitation for a landscape contractor provide grounds (landscape) maintenance services at six locations within the Salt Lake City School District. This will be a five (5) year contract beginning approximately March 1, 2022. Stage 1 of this solicitation is a request for statement of qualifications (SOQs), and Stage 2 is an Invitation for Bid. Vendors who are successfully qualified after SOQs are evaluated and scored will move on to Stage 2 where bids will be opened, reviewed and evaluated. Only Bids received from vendors qualified during Stage 1 will be opened. Both Stages (1 and 2) are being issued simultaneously with this solicitation. Vendors must submit both a statement of qualifications (for Stage 1) and a bid (for Stage 2) as instructed herein. If submitted electronically, be sure your SOQ and Bid are uploaded as separate documents. If submitted hard-copy, the SOQ and the Bid must be submitted in separate sealed documents as explain in this solicitation. Please note the SOQ page limits specified in parts 2.3 and 2.41 of the RFP document (Attachment B). These page limits are mandatory. Any SOQ submitted that exceeds these page limits may be eliminated from consideration by the SLCSD. To ensure that you fully understand this solicitation and the requirements contained herein, you must download and review ALL attachments. Do not include any price/cost information with your statement of qualifications submitted in Stage 1. The Stage 1 evaluation will be a 100% technical evaluation. Submit your bid (bid pricing) on the required form (Attachment D) separately as instructed herein. By responding to this solicitation, the offeror/bidder represents that he/she has examined, read and familiarized him/herself with the requirements of the solicitation documents. ALL questions concerning this solicitation must be submitted in writing through this Periscope Source system. Questions submitted in any other format will not be addressed. Only answers issued through the system or issued via an authorized and properly issued addendum shall be the official position of the State. DO NOT Contact the SLCSD maintenance department during this procurement process. Doing so may result in your SOQ being rejected as non-responsive. The question and answer period ends at 7:00 A.M. on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. Any modification to this procurement effort shall be made by addendum issued by the SLCSD. Only authorized and properly issued addenda shall constitute the official binding position of the SLCSD. Anyone submitting a response to this solicitation, based on other communication or information received from sources other than through official addendum, assumes full risk including the possibility of a determination of non-responsiveness.
