All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of $15,000 which shall have, as security, either a Corporate Surety or a Bank check payable to the City of Latrobe. The amount for this Bond is an estimate of the amount of work to be performed throughout the year; however, it is not to be construed as a guarantee of any amount of work. This work will be done on an as-needed basis. Bids may be held by the City for a period of 60 days from the date of opening Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the Contract. The City of Latrobe reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in bids received.
