The City of Neosho Rapids is accepting sealed bids for the Neosho Rapids Park Improvements Project. The Bid Documents and additional information may be downloaded from the Drexel Technologies, Inc. Planroom at http://planroom.drexeltech.com/View/Default.aspx. Bids are due to the City of Neosho Rapids up to and no later than 3:00 p.m. Central Time, February 15, 2022, at which time they will be publicly opened at 238 Main Street, Neosho Rapids, KS 66864. A pre-bid conference is scheduled at 238 Main Street, Neosho Rapids, KS 66864 at 2:00 p.m. Central Time, January 27, 2022. The pre-bid conference is not mandatory, but highly recommended. The project is funded in part by the Kansas Department of Commerce CDBG program. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and Federal prevailing wage rates to be paid under the contract according to Davis-Bacon; Section 3 of the 1968 Housing Act; Section 109 of the 1984 Housing and Community Development Act and Executive Order 11246, and the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Bidders should be familiar with the Labor provisions, bonding requirements and Equal Employment Opportunity provisions as applicable to this project as required by the funding agency above.
