DESCRIPTION:
Remodeling of Kitchen.
The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Work is to be completed within 120 days of award, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages are to be paid. Refer to attached specification for the following scope of work. Site must be cleaned and all materials secured at the end of each work day. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of Kitchen Remodel, before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintendent. SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following:
1) Follow the design provided by Peter Morse Architecture.
2) REMOVE AND DISPOSE OF ALL EXISTING KITCHEN CABINETS, COUNTERTOPS, SINK, BACKSPLASH, ETC. EXISTING SHELVES IN PANTRY TO REMAIN.
3) SALVAGE EXISTING REFRIGERATOR, ELECTRIC RANGES, MICROWAVE AND DISHWASHER FOR REINSTALLATION. STORE AND MAINTAIN IN GOOD CONDITION.
4) REMOVE EXISTING BASEBOARD SUPPLY AND RETURN DIFFUSERS. REPLACE WITH NEW.
5) REMOVE EXISTING FLOORING AND UNDERLAYMENT DOWN TO SUBFLOOR.
6) REMOVE EXISTING LIGHT FIXTURES. PROVIDE AND INSTALL LED UNITS SIMILAR TO
EXISTING AS FOLLOWS:
7) REMOVE EXISTING RANGE HOODS. PROVIDE AND INSTALL NEW RANGE HOODS USING EXISTING DUCTS AND ELECTRIC.
8) REMOVE KITCHEN WINDOWS, FRAMES AND TRIM. PROVIDE AND INSTALL NEW Fiberglass REPLACEMENT WINDOWS WITH SCREENS SIZED AS PER EXISTING.
9) REPAIR OR REPLACE THE WALLS AS REQUIRED TO A SMOOTH CONDITION TO ACCEPT PAINT AND NEW CABINETS. CR Number: 2101819 Question Deadline : 10/05/2023 Any questions not asked at the site visit must be submitted in writing to

response within 2 business days after the deadline for submitting questions. All questions
and answers will be e-mailed to all contractors that attended the mandatory site visit.
