This Request for Quotations (the "RFQ") is an invitation by KGS Group as Owner's Engineer on behalf of the Water Security Agency ("WSA") to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for WSA-2021OE-0212 - Gate Installation and Safety Upgrades at Broderick and West Val Marie. The successful respondent will provide demolition and construction services to install owner supplied slide gate and acutator systems - along with additional safety upgrade work - at a) Broderick North and West irrigation outlets, located near the Village of Broderick, SK; and b) West Val Marie riparian outlet located north and west of the VIllage of Val Marie, SK. The scope of the project includes: a) Complete care-of-water activities to appropriately and safely isolate and dewater the gatewell(s), b) Remove existing gates and gatewell appurtenances, c) Complete concrete repair within the gatewell, d) Install WSA-supplied gate systems (gate, gateframe, stem, stem guides, operator/actuator and stem cover), e) Supply and install gate mounting plate, f) Supply and install new appurtenances within the gatewell (ladders, platforms, etc.), g) Supply and install new appurtenances on surface (davit cups, fencing, handrails, bollards/traffic guardrails, electric panels & pedestals, etc.), h) Complete nominal site regrading and application of granular materials, i) Participate in gate commissioning along with Gate Supplier at direction of WSA Operations staff.
