The City of New Bedford, Purchasing Department, in conjunction with the New Bedford Public Schools is soliciting sealed bids for the New Bedford High School Cafeteria Window Replacement located at 230 Hathaway Blvd, New Bedford, Massachusetts 02740. The work of this contract will require a DCAMM Prime General Contractor certified in Doors and Windows. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate . The estimated budget for this project is $618,000.00 and the estimated substantial completion date is the end of August 2022. The project involves the removal and replacement of all of the windows in the four cafeteria rooms. The new windows will include both fixed and operable sashes The project involves the removal and replacement of all of the windows in the four cafeteria rooms. The new windows will include both fixed and operable sashes. The work involves hazardous materials abatement that will need to be closely coordinated with the High School. C. The scope of work, without limiting the generality thereof, includes all labor, materials, equipment and services required to perform the work described fully in the Drawings and Specifications and includes, but is not limited to the following major work: 1. Construction of window replacement shall include, but not limited to: a. Demolition b. Carpentry, caulking. c. Windows.
