Site work and paving for a civil project in Bowling Green, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Work to be performed under the Contract, if any is awarded on the basis of the Bids, consists of the expansion of Toll Plaza 64 with one additional concrete toll island, lane and toll booth. The Work also includes, but is not limited to, addition to the existing canopy over the new lane, modifications to existing overhead sign structure (including new foundation, partial truss and end frame), embankment construction into the pond, dewatering system, all clearing, site drainage, SWPPP management, site improvements, concrete pavements, and maintenance of traffic. Additional work is required for electrical, communications and mechanical improvements, and associated work for new and existing toll booth, dynamic message signs, and Toll Collection System (TCS) integration work. Work shall also include but not limited to demolition/removal of the following: pavement elements, components of existing canopy required for new construction, foundations, miscellaneous site components, sections of the existing overhead sign support structure and all other items noted on the drawings. Bidders should submit all questions no later than seven (7) days prior to Bid Opening. The Small Business Enterprise (DBE/EDGE/SBE) Goal applicable to this Project is 15%. A Contract will be awarded, if any award be made, to the Bidder determined to have submitted the lowest responsive and responsible Bid for the performance of the Work. The Commission reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive minor irregularities or technical deficiencies.
