Improvements to Lowe Warner Memorial ParkFEMA 428 Alternate Projects (Paving, Trail Improvements, and Fence Construction) The proposed work under this REBID shall include the Town performing the following four improvements for the Lowe Warner Memorial Park facility: (1) Overlay surfacing/addition of approximately 23,000 SF of 2.0” asphalt pavement overlay on an existing asphalt entrance road to the Park (2) Overlay surfacing/addition of approximately 22,500 SF of 2.0” asphalt pavement overlay on an existing asphalt parking lot at the Senior Center (3) Paving/addition of new 2.5” asphalt pavement surfacing to three existing aggregate surfaced parking lots located at the: (1) tennis courts, (2) playground, and (3) ballfield parking areas (4) Improvements to an existing 3200 LF X 6.0ft W soil walking trail; includes addition of 4.0-inch compacted crushed aggregate layer on both East and West Legs of the trail, plus the addition of hard surfacing to a portion of the trail using either (1) 2.0” of asphalt pavement or (2) 4.0” of 3000 psi concrete surfacing on the East Leg only as specified. The Town requests a concrete surfacing alternative as presented on the Bid Schedule No. 4 and shown in the Plans & Specifications as “Bid Alternate No. 1 For any proposal to be considered or accepted by the Town, the proposal must include at the time of filing, a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price. Selected Contractor(s) will be required to post a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of an event’s estimated contract cost
