Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Mexico Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The Panther Creek bridge on 15th Street was damaged in Hurricane Michael. The FEMA funded repairs to the bridge consist of guardrail replacement, minor road repair and road sign replacement. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be set at $100.00 per day. Please indicate on the envelope that this is a sealed bid, for the 15TH STREET BRIDGE REPAIRS . The City of Mexico Beach reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid, to accept and/or reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in their judgment will be in their best interest. All bids shall remain firm for a period of ninety (90) days after the opening. Questions regarding the project must be submitted in writing to David Reisen prior by 2:00 p.m. Central Timeon January 18th , 2022. All bidders shall comply with all applicable State and local laws concerning licensing registration and regulation of contractors doing business to the State of Florida.
