This work is funded by federal CommunityDevelopmentBlockGrant(CDBG)funds, as wellaslocalmatching funds. You are invited to bid on this project as the General Contractor. So all work must be completed(including leadclearance testspassed) andapprovedby the Citybefore 8/31/2022. Sealed proposals will be received on general contracts for the rehabilitation of one (1) residential structure in the City of Readlyn, IA. This work is being financed through CommunityDevelopment Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA), as well as local matching funds. Bids are being solicited by invitation and through published public notice. Bids received fromcontractors barred from participation in federally assisted projects will be rejected. All bids must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and the Iowa Northland Regional Council of Governments' (INRCOG's) Rehabilitation. INRCOG, on behalf of the City of Readlyn, IA, will furnish to qualified bidders the necessary Instructions to Bidders and Project Specifications upon request. To be eligible, a biddermust be a Lead ProfessionalFirm or Lead AbatementContractor certified by the IowaDepartment of Public Health (IDPH), and all workers conducting lead-based paint activities must be Lead Safe Renovators or LeadAbatementWorkers certified by IDPH.
