Renovation of a municipal facility in Montreal, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Major upgrades, repairs and improvements to the Gérald-Godin building, a building with high heritage value. The project will include major exterior and interior renovations et redevelopment that will contribute to the elimination of the asset maintenance deficit. Subsequently, new office arrangements will be made to house ministerial sections and other workstations that are currently located in rented buildings. TIMELINE: The project is preliminary and is stated as a "project under study" on the Treasury Board Secretariat projects list with values exceeding $50 million. The owner has awarded a consortium of architectural professional consulting firms to complete a real estate analysis and technical feasibility study for the project of requalification and major renovation of Gérald-Godin building following the Request for proposals 44525182. Scope of work, budget and timelines of the project implementation will be finalized based in the Feasibility study report that will be subsequently submitted by the selected professional consultant. Further update in summer 2023.
