Renovation of a municipal facility in Saluda, South Carolina. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of February 17, 2022, council has decided not to replace the roof at this time. Project will not be rebid at this time. Contractor will be required to view slopes, verify measurements and site conditions. It will be the contractors responsibility to verify all existing conditions and determine quantities of supplies required to complete the project. Saluda County is requesting proposals for the repair and re-roofing of the Saluda County Delinquent Tax Building located at 111 Law Range, Saluda, South Carolina 29138 1. Remove existing gutter, downspouts, coping, wall panels, roof panels and built-up roofing down to the substrate. 2. Inspect roof decking and repair as necessary. Inspect all roof trusses and supports and replace as necessary removing all wood rot. 3. Install a 30# felt paper over entire roof deck. 4. Cover entire roof with Ice and Water shield. 5. Install new rigid insulation on low sloped areas of roof and install per manufacturers specifications. Tapered insulation shall be installed where required to create a positive slope and promote drainage. 6. Fabricate and install new gutters and downspouts. Flash gutter to roof as required to insure weather tightness. Gutter, downspouts, and flashing shall be 24ga. Kynar coated metal. 7. Fabricate and install new transition metal, and ridge cap 8. Fabricate new 18ga. Hat channel and install on the inside of the knee walls. 9. Fabricate and install new flat seam wall panels to the inside of the knee walls. 10. Fabricate and install inside and outside lock and coping sloped to the inside of the roof with tapered EPS insulation
