Extend Columbus Street to the north approx. 600 LF in the Sun Prairie Business Park. Site Directions: CTH N to Progress Way, North on Columbus Street PROJECT DESCRIPTION: We understand that numerous City of Sun Prairie streets including Bristol Street, Barbara Street, Jeanne Court, Grove Access Road, Railroad Street, Major Way, Dover Way, Harvard Drive and Queen Street will be reconstructed, rehabilitated and/or new watermain and storm sewer will be installed. Additionally, various improvements including watermain installation are planned at Angell Park. Further, Columbus Street will be extended northeast and will likely include the installation of sanitary sewer, watermain and storm sewer. We anticipate that watermains will be about 6.5 to 7 ft below present grade and storm sewer will be about 3 to 5 ft below the present surface. The various streets are located throughout Sun Prairie and are shown in the Soil Boring Exhibits enclosed in Appendix B. The majority of the soil borings were located along residential streets surrounded by mainly residential properties. Site topography varies along the roadways ranging from sloping/rolling to generally flat.
