Site work and paving for a road / highway in McHenry, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
For the following work: The work shall consist of roadway resurfacing including 12,305 pounds of Bituminous Materials (Tack Coat), 6,640 tons of Hot-Mix Asphalt Surface Course, Mix D, IL-9.5, N50, 230 tons of Hot-Mix Asphalt Binder Course, IL-19.0, N50, 57,545 square yards of Hot-Mix Asphalt Surface Removal (var. types), and other related work. Prequalification of Bidders in accordance with the applicable parts of IDOT Bureau of Local Roads and Streets Recurring Special Provision Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Contract Proposals (Check Sheet LRS 6) will be required of all bidders on this proposal. IDOT prequalification in category 003 HMA Plant Mix will be required of all bidders on this proposal. Not less than the prevailing rate of wages as found by the Road District or the Department of Labor, or as determined by the Court on Review, shall be paid to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work as indicated in the special provisions to the specifications. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities. Various roads and streets within McHenry Township, McHenry County, Illinois Proposed Improvement Consists of hot-mix asphalt surface removal, pavement patching, hot-mix asphalt surface course, and all necessary and collateral work to construct the improvements.
