Renovation of an educational facility in Redford, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Base bid (alternate) to include removal and disposal of existing roof system down to structural deck and installation of new specified roofing system, including new EPDM (TPO), flashings, additional nailers as required, installation of new walkway pads around point of roof access, HVAC units and travel path between all, new related sheet metal work as described in accompanying specification for fully adhered EPDM (Ultraply TPO) roof system. Roof Areas 1-5, please refer to MWA drawings. Please include Roof Area #6, shingle replacement, in your bid. The roof replacement hours include weekdays and weekends as permitted by the Redford Union ordinance. Contractor is responsible for contacting the local municipality. Base bid to include costs for all permits. All materials to be removed and disposed of legally. Application of new Firestone RubberGard EPDM (Ultraply TPO) roof system must strictly follow Manufacturer specification. Refer to attached specifications, roof drawing and Technical Specifications manual.
