Renovation of an educational facility in Wyoming, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
1. GENERAL INFORMATION Godfrey-Lee Public Schools is requesting a proposal to install A/C in the classrooms of the Early Childhood Center (E.C.C.) located at 961 Joosten St. SW, Wyoming, MI. 49509. The E.C.C. was constructed in 1998/99 and during the project a budget shortfall lead to the abandonment of the installation of A/C in the classrooms. In 2021, the District investigated the possibility of completing the project and determined that most of the installation had been completed. This R.F.P. will complete the project and the awarded bidder will be responsible for ensuring all classrooms have A/C according to the 1999 print as provided by Beta Design. Permits are the responsibility of the bidder and the District is under the inspection authority of the City of Wyoming. Bidder is responsible for coordinating work with the Director of Operations and District's controls provider and electrician.3 June 3rd, 2022, School Closed for summer. Work can commence at that date All questions received will be shared with all bidders. No questions will be accepted after January 20th, 2022 Currently there are 22 Unit ventilators not on the chill water system. An outdoor walk-in cooler is currently on the pad where the new Trane chiller will reside and will be moved prior to the commencement of this project. A bladder tank is currently in the place of where the 2 nd base mounted pump will reside and will be moved prior to the commencement of this project.
