Site work for a civil project in Pittston Twp, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and road / highway.
Install concrete encasement and trench plugs for 2 existing 8 SDR-35 PVC sewer mains and installation of twin 6 PEP outlet pipes, maintenance of traffic and related work. 1. Maintenance and protection of traffic. 2. Erosion and sedimentation control. 3. Test pits for verification of existing concrete encasement and trench plugs. PA DEP is to witness the exiting encasement and trench plugs, if encountered. 4. Concrete pipe encasement around existing sanitary sewer pipe. 5. Install trench plugs around existing sanitary sewer pipe. 6. Backfill trenches. 7. Restore State highway shoulder. 8. Install twin 6" perforated PEP lines. 9. Install stone backfill wrapped with Class 1 geotextile fabric. 10. Provide ground restoration - topsoil, seeding and soil supplements, R-4 apron. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 3/3/2022 5:00 PM Bid Security (10% of Bid) A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, Each in the Amount of 100 Percent of the Contract Price, With a Corporate Surety Approved by the Owner, Will Be Required in Accordance With the Contract Surety Provision of the General Conditions. TIME OF COMPLETION Sixty (60) calendar days after the starting date specified in the Notice to Proceed. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per calendar day The Owner Also Reserves the Right to Delete Items in Part or in Whole in Order to Award a Contracted Based on the Funds Appropriated for This Project. . The Owner will review the bids at the Pittston Township Municipal Building on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at 6:00 P.M.
