Base Bid: $850k, Alt 1 $100k, Alt 2 $250k Single Prime Construction Work for the following: General Trades Work, which includes Sub-Contractor Work for the following: Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Security and Hazardous Abatement Work. The Project consists of all labor, material and services necessary for the timely and proper completion of the Wilbur L. Berkey Fieldhouse HVAC, Boiler and Door & Window Replacement ]as described in the bid documents related to the construction of the addition and renovations at the existing library Project Location: 100 Smithie Drive, Smithville, Ohio 44677 All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the form of either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of the bid (including all add alternates) or a certified check, cashier's check, or an irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the bid (including all add alternates), as described in the Instructions to Bidders. The District reserves the right to waive irregularities in bids, to reject any or all bids, and to conduct such investigation as necessary to determine the responsibility of a bidder. The estimated construction cost for the Work being performed at this time is $850,000.00 Wilbur L. Berkey Fieldhouse: The work consists of removal and installation of existing HVAC / Boiler Equipment, removal and installation of existing Hollow Metal Doors & Windows, Hazardous Abatement Work, Electrical demolition and new electrical work (power and lighting Work), Acoustical Ceiling Work, exterior Concrete Work, Door Security Work and new Aluminum Window / Exterior Storefront Systems and doors. D. Weight / Locker Room Building: ALTERNATE NO. 2 (ENTIRE BUILDING). The work consists of the removal of existing exterior pad mounted HVAC units, ductwork removal (inside), removal of hollow metal frames, doors and hardware, removal of existing interior electrical lighting. New Work consists of installation of new exterior HVAC pad mounted units, electrical power and interior lighting work, new hollow metal frames, doors and hardware,door security, interior metal liner panels and exterior concrete work.
