The award of the contracts is scheduled for consideration by the Board of Trustees at its regularly scheduled meeting in the District Boardroom, 1201 South Rusk, Denison, Texas 75020 on Tuesday, February 15th, 2022 at 6:30 P.M. CDT. Said services will include the removal of the current surfaces, proper prep, and the installation of a new concrete, ramps, and/or asphalt surface as designated. It is the intent of the Request for Proposal to solicit bids for professional Concrete, Ramp, &/ Asphalt Services for Denison Independent School District. The District is inviting proposals from Respondents to provide information for concrete, ramps and/ asphalt. Respondents can bid on all or parts of the bid and still be awarded on a partial or complete bid basis. The work is scheduled to be performed for three-year term and renewable for four (4) years in one-year increments. At any time, the District is allowed to rebid for the betterment of the district. Services may include the construction of an asphalt parking lot(s), concrete walkways, ramps with handrails, resurfacing parking lots, concrete slabs, or overlaying asphalt from March 1st ,2022- February 28th, 2025. Asphalt required services are as follows: o Grade and compact existing sub grade prior to paving o Install required thickness gravel base as needed o Install 1.5" of TxDOT #1100L hot mix asphalt o Roll and compact leveling course o Apply SS-1H bond coat as needed o Install TxDOT #1100T 20AA wearing course as needed o Roll and compact to tight mat finish o Restore any landscape, sidewalk or other damage to the site *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
