Site work for a water / sewer project in Saint Johns, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of February 16, 2022 this project was awarded to Malley Construction. The anticipate starting construction will be on late June or in July, 2022. The Work covered by Contract Documents comprises construction of the Gillison Drain for the Clinton County Drain Commissioner, OWNER. Notice of Award to be given by February 25, 2022 if acceptable bid is received. Substantial completion (all piping and structures installed and initial trench backfill) is October 1, 2022. Final completion date of October 15, 2022. Questions should be directed to Clinton County Drain Commissioner Phil Hanses at 989-224- 5160 or Jon Morrison, P.E. Deputy at 989-224-5212 or by email to drain@clinton-county.org. A security deposit in the form of a cashier's check, money order, certified check or bidders bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount shall be submitted with any bids. No cash will be permitted. The security deposits of all unsuccessful bidders shall be returned after the Contract is awarded. The total bid price will be read upon opening of the bids. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder giving adequate security for the performance of the work and meeting all conditions represented in the Instructions to Bidders. The Contract completion date and the terms of payment will be announced at the time and place of letting. If no satisfactory bids are received, we reserve the right to reject any and all bids and to adjourn to a time and location as we shall announce.
