TMK: 2-1-025=004 The work generally consists of replacing the two chillers and chilled water pumps in the 5th floor mechanical room with new modular chillers and chilled water pumps. The chilled water air handling units, water source heat pumps, and computer room AC unit serving the DCCA offices throughout the building will be replaced. The chiller room DDC controls will be replaced and a new DDC workstation will be installed. The existing DDC controls software will be upgraded as required to connect the new equipment to the existing system. The building DDC system will be connected to the DAGS central DDC system. The estimated construction cost is between $2.5 million and $5 million. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. THE GENERAL PROJECT SCOPE IS TO DEMOLISH THE EXISTING TWO CHILLERS AND CHILLED WATER PUMPS IN 5TH FLOOR MECHANICAL ROOM AND REPLACE WITH MODULAR CHILLERS AND CHILLED WATER PUMPS. REPLACE THE REFRIGERANT DETECTION SYSTEM SERVING THE MECHANICAL ROOM AND INTERLOCK WITH THE EXISTING VENTILATION FAN IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASHRAE STD 15. REPLACE THE OBSOLETE CHILLER ROOM DDC CONTROLS AND INSTALL A NEW DDC WORKSTATION. REPLACE CHILLED WATER AIR HANDLING UNITS, WATER SOURCE HEAT PUMPS, AND COMPUTER ROOM AC UNIT SERVING THE DCCA OFFICES THROUGHOUT THE BUILDING. PROVIDE TEMPORARY COOLING AS REQUIRED WHILE COMPUTER ROOM AC UNIT IS BEING REPLACED. UPDATE THE EXISTING DDC CONTROLS SOFTWARE AND PROVIDE NEW HARDWARE AS REQUIRED TO CONNECT NEW EQUIPMENT TO THE EXISTING SYSTEM. CONNECT THE BUILDING DDC SYSTEM TO THE DAGS CENTRAL DDC SYSTEM
