The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) located in Albany, NY is the regional public bus transportation provider to the Capital District of New York. As part of our service, CDTA furnishes bus passenger shelters at certain, high use stops throughout the system. To date over 360 shelters are utilized throughout the transit system. CDTA has and continues to replace these shelters at the end of their useful lives and has established a program that standardizes them providing efficient and cost-effective maintenance. CDTA is seeking bids from qualified manufacturers for the fabrication and delivery of transit shelters and benches in accordance with the specifications. All questions regarding the technical contents of the Invitation for Bid are to be submitted IN WRITING to Stacy Sansky, Director of Procurement Capital District Transportation Authority, 110 Watervliet Avenue, Albany, New York 12206 (518-437-8342, sdsansky@cdta.org) by February 2, 2022, 11:00AM EST. CONTRACT DURATION: Three years with two optional renewal years A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid : The CDTA reserves the right to reject an obviously unbalanced bid or to make "NO AWARD" on individual listings or sub-items if individual bid prices are deemed to be unbalanced or excessive or if an error in the solicitation becomes evident. In such case, ranking and evaluation of bids may be made on remaining items. Award would be made on the remaining items. The determination of an unbalanced bid shall be at the sole discretion of the CDTA. Options contained in this paragraph shall also be at CDTA's sole discretion.
