The Albany Department of Water & Water Supply is requesting quotes for soiling borings and reports at multiple locations to influence future utility work. Award Requirements - Reserve Rights to Award by Line Item Question Acceptance Deadline:02/16/2022 12:00 PM EST. Questions are submitted online:No. The limitation in completing work with a PO and an RFQ as opposed to a formal bid is $20,000. Work is expected to begin and end promptly, but this will be decided with the awarded contractor. SCOPE: The following are items expected to be included in the scope of this work. If any of these items are beyond the capabilities of your company, please note that in your response. You may use any sampling method you see fit for making these determinations. Assume locations will be in pavement. Pavement cores at each scheduled location determining pavement composition and thickness of layers (including but not limited to top, binder, concrete, and subbase). Determine and report soil classification at each scheduled location to the specified depth. Determine depth to groundwater at each scheduled location. Fully replace material to restore area immediately upon completion of work. Provide adequate traffic control to complete the work. Albany Water Department will work with you to establish No Parking areas where necessary
