The work is as follows: In the Base Bid portion of said project will be the construction of new 8" gravity sewer main and 4" force main with pumping station along MS Highway 178; included also in Base Bid will be the video and camera of an existing 10" sewer main as shown in Construction Plans. This project will also have Alternate Bids for CIPP lining of existing sewer mains and manholes, construction of a new 8" gravity main and improvements to existing sewer lagoon. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Town of Potts Camp, negotiable U.S. Government bonds 9at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an accepted Surety, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total of the Bid shall be submitted with each bid. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages set forth I the Contract Documents must be paid on this project, and the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin.
