Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Waukegan, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

DHS seeking to procure the replacement a pavilion patio and walkway at the Kiley Center located at 1401 W. Dugdale Rd, Waukegan, IL. Replace Pavilion Patio Break-up existing concrete patio (approx. 32' x 24'). Remove debris and dispose in accordance with EPA requirements. Ensure area is clear of large, hard objects, roots, and other organic material to depth of at least 4". Apply 4" crushed, compacted stone base, compacting with vibrating plate or similar device. Apply #4 re-bar/rebar chairs 12" on center in both directions. Set forms. Inspection by Contractor Supervisor and Facility Engineer required prior to pouring slab. Pour 5" slab of 4500 psi compression strength concrete with fiber mesh secondary, consisting of virgin polypropylene fibers pre-mixed with concrete. Contractor shall coordinate concrete delivery times to ensure concrete is delivered and poured under optimal conditions. Slab shall be poured with proper crown/slope to ensure proper water runoff. Finish surface, saw-cut and caulk connecting joints not to exceed 8' on center in all directions. Replace Pavilion Walkway As above, break-up existing concrete patio (approx. 72' x 4.5').
