Material Bid Items 500 Tons of Emulsified Asphalt 2,000 Tons Grade "B" of Hot Mix Asphalt 1,000 Tons 3/8-inch Seal Coat Aggregate 3,000 Tons 3/8-inch "Driveway Grade" Hot Mix Asphalt 500 Tons Grade "D" Hot Mix Asphalt 1,500 Tons Drain Aggregate (sump rock) 5,000 Tons 1/2 -inch Winter Traction Aggregate Proposals must be accompanied by cashier's check, certified check, or bank money order drawn and issued by a national banking association located in the State of Montana, by any banking corporation incorporated in the State of Montana, or by a bid bond or bonds executed by a surety corporation authorized to do business in the State of Montana in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the required contract. The bid security shall identify the same firm as is noted on the bid proposal form. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required of the successful bidder in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the aggregate of the proposal for the faithful performance of the contract and protection of the City of Missoula against liability. The City of Missoula reserves the right to waive informalities, to reject any and all bids, and if all bids are rejected, to re-advertise under the same or new specifications, or to make such an award as in the judgment of its officials best meets the City's requirements.
