License requirement: B License The maximum allowable design and construction cost for this Project is $55,000,000. The project will be located on the vacant County owned lot at the southeast corner of Rialto Avenue and Lena Road in the City and County of San Bernardino. The comprehensive ~74,000 square foot building on the 6.85-acre site will be a new mission critical facility that must be operational 365/24/7, under extreme conditions, as the primary Emergency Operation Center (EOC) and Emergency Communications Center in the San Bernardino Valley. The facility will be occupied by the following entities: Sheriff-Coroner (SBCSD), Office of Emergency Services (OES), County Fire (SBCFD), Consolidated FireAgencies (CONFIRE), Inland Counties Emergency Medical Agency (ICEMA), Radio Management Facility (ITD) and Building Services. The project includes solar power generating facilities, back-up power systems and redundant HVAC and potable water services. The building foundation will employ a base isolation system.
