GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK The major work will consist of the (approximate) following: Pedestrian Sidewalk Improvements Lackland Road from Camp Bowie Blvd to Calmont Avenue 30,200 LF of New Sidewalk 16 New Pedestrian Ramps PREQUALIFICATION Certain improvements included in this project must be performed by a contractor or designated subcontractor who is pre-qualified by the City at the time of bid opening. The procedures for qualification and pre-qualification are outlined in the Section 3 of 00 21 13 INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS. DOCUMENT EXAMINATION AND PROCUREMENTS The Bidding and Contract Documents may be examined or obtained on-line by visiting the City of Fort Worth's Purchasing Division website at http://www.fortworthtexas.gov/purchasing/ and clicking on the link to the advertised project folders on the City's electronic document management and collaboration system site. The Contract Documents may be downloaded, viewed, and printed by interested contractors and/or suppliers. EXPRESSION OF INTEREST To ensure potential bidders are kept up to date of any new information pertinent to this project, all interested parties are requested to email Expressions of Interest in this procurement to the City Project Manager and the Design Engineer. The email should include the company's name, contact person and that individual's email address and phone number. All Addenda will be distributed directly to those who have expressed an interest in the procurement and will also be posted in the City of Fort Worth's purchasing website at http://fortworthtexas.gov/purchasing/ PREBID CONFERENCE Web Conference Invitations with links to the web conferencing application will be distributed directly to those who have submitted an Expression of Interest.
