Renovation of a water / sewer project in Randolph, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work as shown on the Drawings and as described in the Specifications. The work primarily consists of painting one (1) 1,500,000 gallon (83 feet in diameter by 40 feet high) Water Storage Tank. The work is located on Flicker Terrace in the Township of Denville. The work shall be completed within 180 calendar days of the Contractor's receipt of written Notice to Proceed. No bid will be received unless in writing on the forms furnished, and unless accompanied by bid security in the form of a bid bond, cashier's check, or a certified check made payable to the Township of Denville in an amount equal to 10% of the amount of the total bid, but not exceeding $20,000. The bid shall be accompanied by a Certificate of Surety on the form included in the Contract Documents, from a surety company licensed to do business in the State of New Jersey, which shall represent that the surety company will provide the Contractor with the required bonds in the sums required in the Contract Documents and in a form satisfactory to the Owner's Attorney and in compliance with the requirements of law. No bids will be received after the time and date specified, and no bids will be received by mail. Bids shall be received by courier service (date and time recorded) or shall be hand delivered. The Owner shall award the Contract or reject all bids within 60 days of bid opening, except that the bids of any bidders who consent thereto may, at the request of the Owner, be held for consideration for such longer period as may be agreed. The Owner will evaluate bids and any award will be made to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-4. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor informalities or irregularities in bids received in accordance with public law. All bid security except the security of the three apparent lowest responsible bidders shall be returned, unless otherwise requested by the bidder, within ten (10) days after the opening of the bids, Sundays and holidays excepted, and the bids of the bidders whose bid security is returned shall be considered withdrawn. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor informalities or irregularities in bids received in accordance with public law. Performance Labor and Material Payment Bond for an amount equal to 100% of the Bid price and for a Maintenance Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price. The site of the work to be performed under the Contract is located on Flicker Terrace in the Township of Denville, Morris County, New Jersey. The Contractor is to furnish all labor, materials and equipment required for the project and related construction for the bid price. The work is to be coordinated by the Contractor with a Project Manager located on the construction site. The Contractor is to provide administrative and scheduling personnel as well as provide all the labor, superintendence, materials, plant, tools and equipment necessary and required for properly performing and completing the work as described and more particularly specified within the time stipulated. He is to furnish, erect, maintain and remove the construction plant and such temporary works as may be required. These requirements include, but are not restricted to, suitable quarters for workers where necessary, including temporary sanitary facilities, water supply, heat and light for the workers as well as for construction purposes. Existing public roads which are adjacent to the construction site may be affected by construction activities on the site. The Contractor will be required to keep these roads open at all times during the contract and maintain these roads in a safe condition which is suitable for the public use. The cost of connection to, or extension of, existing utility services from locations on the existing property is to be borne by the Contractor under this Contract. Temporary roads, guards, lights and signposts are to be included, as necessary. The Contractor is to furnish all material, equipment and labor necessary to complete his work in accordance with the terms of this Contract and the requirements thereunder, including all general and detailed Specifications hereinafter outlined. A description of the work is included in the Scope of Contract section of the specifications. This description generally defines the work to be undertaken on this project and is to be supplemented by the remaining Contract Documents. The construction schedule is to be coordinated with the Owner and the Engineer. Regularly scheduled job meetings are to occur at least twice monthly during the full contract period and thereafter as may be necessary
