In order that the Owner may know to whom further information, addendums, and clarifications should be sent prior to the bid opening, it is required that the bid submittal form and specifications be obtained from the Office of the City Clerk, 516 East Grand Avenue, Ponca City, Oklahoma, 74601. Bids shall be made in accordance with the specifications and other bidding documents which are on file and available for examination at the Office of the City Clerk of Ponca City, Oklahoma. All bids received shall be accepted and shall be in force for the term shown on the submittal form. Specific projects will be selected by the City during the term of the bids and the successful bidder for a project shall be determined by the unit costs of the actual quantities of that project (contractors may vary from project to project). Bonding/insurance requirements - Contractors performing any work within the public right-of-way shall comply with the current bonding and insurance requirements as stated in section 9-2-5 of the City Code of the City of Ponca City. VARIOUS ITEMS OF WORK RELATED TO SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION/RECONSTRUCTION FOR THE PERIOD FROM FEBRUARY 14, 2022 TO JUNE 30, 2022 Bids filed as provided herein shall be publicly opened on the above-mentioned time, date and place. Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, before the time set for the opening of bids, as well as bids received after the time set for opening of bids, shall not be considered and will be returned unopened. All bids submitted must include the word "BID", the name of the bid item or project, and the time and date of the bid opening on the face of the sealed envelope.
