Scope of Project : (a)the supply and installation of network switches and wireless access points at Homestead High School, (b) the supply and installation of wireless access points at all six elementary schools operated by the M SD of Southwest Allen County Schools, (c) the replacement of network fiber cable and connectors at Covington Elementaiy School and Woodside Middle School, and (d)the supply of all related materials and labor for any of the foregoing, all as described in more detail in the Request for Bids for Network Cabling Upgrades, dated January 4, 2022 (tne "RFB")(clauses (a) through and including (d), collectively, the "Project"). Any bids received after this date and time, as determined in the sole and complete discretion of SACS, will be returned unopened and not be considered. Each bid shall include all labor, services, supplies, materials, tools, equipment and transportation necessary to complete the Project in strict accordance with the RFB, all of which RFB is incorporated in this notice by reference. All contractors and subcontractors shall comply with all applicable laws, including, but not limited to, the requirements of Indiana Code 5-16-13, as amended, and as detailed in the RFB. Prime bidders and their subcontractors must also be able to meet all requirements found in applicable public works and contract statutes. Each bona fide bid shall be accompanied by a satisfactory bid bond or certified check pursuant to Indiana Code 36-1-12-4.5, as amended, payable to SACS. SACS expects to award the contract for the work to the lowest, responsible and responsive bidder. SACS reserves the right to hold bids, including any alternate bids, for 180 days from the date of opening. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of bids for 180 days without consent of SACS. SACS reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bias and to waive any informalities, discrepancies, omissions, variances, defects or irregularities in any of the bids or any of the bidding procedure.
