As of November 3, 2022, construction is complete. Renovation of the existing Lecanto Middle school in Lecanto, Florida. A. Provide appropriate barriers to isolate and contain areas impacted by demolition and construction. 1. Construction barriers shall extend from floor to floor/ roof deck above and from wall to wall, unless noted otherwise. 2. Anterooms will be provided at entrances to work areas to contain debris and to provide workers an area to remove protective clothing or vacuum off clothing. B. Provide walk-off mats at entrances to work areas. C. Maintain clean-to-dirty airflow direction to prevent any cross contamination from the construction site to occupied spaces. D. Protect patients and staff from construction activity (removing filters, removing ceiling tiles, working above ceilings, etc.) to reduce the risk of the transmission of infection. 1. Exterior silicone sealants. 2. Exterior silicone EIFS sealants. 3. Exterior and interior polyurethane traffic sealants. 4. Interior silicone sealants. 5. Interior latex sealants. 6. Interior silicone food contact sealants. 7. Interior sanitary silicone sealants. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the maximum amount of the Bid as a guarantee that the Bidder, if awarded the Contract, will within ten (10) calendar days after written notice being given of bid acceptance, enter into a written Contract with the Citrus County School Board, in accordance with the accepted Bid, and give a surety bond satisfactory to the Citrus County School Board equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. No Bidder may withdraw his/her Bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the date set for the opening of the Bids. All prime contractors must hold a Citrus County School Board Certificate of Pre-qualification to bid on Citrus County School Board construction projects. Prime contractors must be pre-qualified by the Citrus County School Board prior to submitting a bid. Prime contractor's bids must be within the bid limits specified on their pre-qualification certificate. The Citrus County School Board reserves the absolute right to award the Bid to the lowest, responsive Bidder, to waive any informality or irregularity in any Bid, or to reject any and all Bids received based solely on the Board's determination of the best interests of the School District.
