The Town of Florence hereby solicits proposals from qualified consultants to develop an Infrastructure Improvement Plan (IIP) and Development Impact Fee (DIF) studies in accordance with all applicable state and local laws and regulations. The qualified professional must be licensed in the State of Arizona, and must be a professional engineer, surveyor, financial analyst or planner providing services within the scope of the person's license, education or experience. Florence is the county seat of Pinal County and is located 45 minutes away from the Phoenix and Tucson metropolitan areas. The corporate limits are 62.5 square miles. Florence is a major employer with approximately 75% of its work force commuting into the area on a daily basis. Current population is estimated at 25,250. In the last three years, the Town has experienced growth in residential housing and a renewed interest in previously identified residential housing communities to the north, south and west of the core of the town. This has changed the infrastructure needs from previous studies. Calendar year 2018 yielded 233, 2019 yielded 384, 2020 yielded 399 and 2021 is estimated at 500 single residential housing permits The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
