Clear Creek County Road & Bridge Department is soliciting lump-sum priced bids for performing civil engineering services for water quality control improvements and asphalt pavement overlay of approximately 2.7 miles on Old Squaw Pass Road. The Project is located on Old Squaw Pass Road between the two intersections with Squaw Pass Road (Hwy 103). The engineering work needed is for the final design of two sediment basins and to establish the appropriate road profile and cross section, as well as the rehabilitation of portions of the drainage infrastructure. Written inquires will be accepted until January 25, 2022 and answers will be posted on the County's Website by January 28, 2022. Bids must be submitted either: via parcel service to Clear Creek County Public Works, ATTN: Stoy Streepey, 3549 Stanley Road (CR 312), Dumont, Colorado 80436, or via USPS to Clear Creek County Public Works, ATTN: Stoy Streepey, P.O. Box 362, Dumont, Colorado 80436. Bids submitted via parcel service or USPS shall be in a sealed envelope clearly marked with "PW 22-04 Bid for Civil Engineering Services for Old Squaw Pass Road." It will be the County's intention to award a single Contract to a single Bidder, unless each element of the Bid is awarded to separate Bidders. Then the County will award a single Contract to the successful Bidder. However, the County reserves the right to reject all Bids, reject portions of any Bid, or accept any Bid that is deemed most advantageous to the County. Bids that do not conform to the prescribed format or incomplete Bids may be automatically eliminated from consideration. Any Bid or portion thereof may be subject to additional negotiation initiated by the County. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
