As of August 14, this project was postponed due to the lack of interest at the pre-bid conference. The project is expected to rebid in the future, however, a timeframe is not yet known. Reference Number 0000324518 This is a roadway project on JC-73, from Buffalo Park Road to Plettner Lane. The Contractor shall make improvements to the intersection of Buffalo Park Road. This includes the installation of new traffic signal poles and improvements to the turn lanes and pedestrian crossings. The Contractor shall make modifications to the existing structure at Buffalo Park Road and the existing structure on JC-73 near Plettner Lane. The Contractor shall install new structures at Little Cub Creek Road and at a private driveway crossing. The Contractor shall install a cast-in-place retaining wall, which is necessary for the installation of roadway widening, bike lanes, curb & gutter, and sidewalk. The Contractor shall install and manage any dewatering or creek diversion necessary for the construction of the retaining walls or structures. The Contractor shall complete the construction of off-street parking lots, storm sewer improvements, and a water quality basin. The Contractor shall coordinate with all utilities and construct the necessary water and sanitary adjustments. The Contractor shall mill, overlay, and restripe JC-73 prior to finishing the project. The project work consists of the installation and maintenance of the necessary erosion control measures and revegetation of the site. The Contractor shall coordinate with utility companies on the relocation of utilities throughout the project. The Contractor is responsible for all necessary traffic control measures during construction and for reducing and minimizing the impacts to traffic. The Contractor to coordinate any impacts with Jeffco Schools, Evergreen Fire Rescue, Jeffco Sheriffs Office, and other local stakeholders.
