This project is generally described as the construction of two new reinforced concrete parking lots to serve the MPEC which generally includes site demolition/preparation, removal/replacement of approximately 570 SY of asphalt pavement and the construction/installation of approximately 460 LF of curb & gutter, 15,440 SY of 6" concrete paving (9,860 SY-Base Bid & 5,580 SY Additive Bid), 800 SY of 6" reinforced concrete drive approach, 945 SY of 4" reinforced concrete sidewalk, pedestrian ramp/crossings, 16 RV Hookups (electrical and water), site lighting, irrigation, landscaping, and associated work. The Engineer's Estimate of Probable Cost of Construction for this project is $2,062,635 (Base Bid and Additive). The valves shall be bi-directional, non-rising stem with a minimum rated working pressure of 200 psig. Tapping valves which allow 1/2" undersize cutters shall be provided, ifspecified. All tapping valves shall be designed with an alignment lip per MS SSP-60. The valve operating nut shall be painted black and open in a counter-clockwise direction. The water way shall be full-port. No recesses, insets, etc. shall be allowed in the bottom ofthe waterway which would allow build-up or collection ofresidue and debris.
