Bids shall be addressed to the Treasurer of the Marysville Exempted Village School District in a sealed opaque envelope, and be clearly marked on the envelope as a bid for the applicable improvements for which the bidder is submitting its bid along with the contractor's name. Bids shall include, and Bidders shall submit with their Bids, bid security in the form of (i) a bond in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Sections 153.54 and 153.571 naming the Board of Education as obligee for the total amount of the Bid, including all add alternates. A. This project consists of the Boiler Replacement at Navin Elementary School, taking place during Summer 2022 for the Marysville Exempted Village School District. Refer to the Bid Drawings for additional information. B. Contractor shall verify all existing conditions which may affect its bid. C. The Project shall be bid as a single Prime Contract. D. The Project, when finished, is to be complete in every respect. E. All Contractors need to reference the General Notes on the Drawings. F. Contractor shall be experienced and qualified to anticipate and understand the requirements and conditions associated with the construction of this type of renovation. It will be necessary to perform out-of-sequence and come-back work, so as to accommodate continuity and use of temporary facilities, etc. Work required to comply with this paragraph shall be included in the bid amount and will not be considered as additional/extra work.
