The City ofHagerstown is requesting a price proposal from your firm for the HIGHLAND AVE DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS, CONTRACT RFP-22-SWM-03. The proposal shall be to furnish all labor, equipment and materials to complete all the necessary work related to this Request for Proposal. This scope ofwork for this project includes the following: Clearing and grubbing and sediment control Removal - portion of existing asphalt walking path and disposal ofmaterial Grading, excavation (unclassified) and disposal of excess soil at approved site Furnish and install Single WR Inlet with frame and bicycle/pedestrian safe grate Furnish and install 12" HP Storm Pipe Furnish and install rock rip-rap apron Furnish and install soil stabilization matting Furnish and install asphalt walking path Place 4" topsoil and establish turf All other related items necessary to complete the work Bid prices submitted shall include furnishing all labor, equipment and materials to complete the project as described above and as shown on drawings 31 -358-001& 31-358-002. Bidders shall use the proposal form provided in this Request. Payment shall be made to the contractor upon satisfactory completion ofthe work, as deemed by the City Engineer; therefore, no bonds are required and no progress payments made. By entering into this contract, the contractor agrees to provide a 100% warranty for a period on ONE (1) year against material or workmanship defects and will fully replace the defects at the contractor's cost and the City Engineer's direction.
