Gannett Fleming Project Development Corporation, LLC (GFPDC) is advertising for participation in a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Town of Clayton WRF Expansion Project Above Grade Plumbing Work. The products and/or services will be utilized at the Town of Clayton WRF Expansion site located at 1698 North O'Neil Street in Clayton, NC. We look forward to the receipt of your proposal and a successful evaluation and contract award process. It is our intent to award a contract for the product/services identified in this RFP to the supplier who provides a technically compliant and competitive price proposal, giving weight to the shortest lead times presented. The Town of Clayton adopted Resolution 2021-04, Outreach Plan and Guidelines for Recruitment and Selection of Minority Businesses for Participation in Town of Clayton Building Construction or Repair Contracts on 1/19/21. This policy is applicable to this solicitation and all documents pertaining to the requirements will be provided in the solicitation. In order to meet prequalification requirements, the following are minimum requirements that shall be met in the Contractors Qualification Statement (attached in the formal bid package): A minimum of 3 similar projects shall have been successfully executed in the previous 5 years. Projects and contact information must be provided. EMR rating of no greater than 1 and a TRIR of no greater than 2. If this is not met, a written explanation of why and a detailed action plan of what the company has implemented to mitigate, and a current OSHA 300 log showing progress must be submitted. No liens shall be currently in place against contractor. Pending litigation against contractor shall be detailed in full. Bonding letter must demonstrate ability to bond 100% Payment and Performance of work. GFPDC will be utilizing the Procore Software for the management of the bid process. Please note this bid shall be treated as a public bid event (called Blind Bidding in Procore) and open to all interested, qualified bidders for the scope of work. The above grade plumbing Scope of Work shall include, but is not limited to labor, materials, accessories, equipment, tools, layout, supervision, testing and inspections, shop drawings, trucking, freight, delivery, insurance, and all other services required for the compete installation of the functional and operable plumbing piping system. All,Work for this project will be in accordance with the provided construction drawings, general notes, specifications and site requirements described below, and any other requirements as listed in the contract.
