Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Mississauga, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; and for site work for a swimming pool.
The brief scope is structural concrete repair, waterproofing, and tile renewal. The pool consists of a rectangular pool shell and a suspended reinforced concrete pool deck surrounding it. The pool shell consists of a slab-on-grade concrete floor surrounded by reinforced concrete pool walls. The cementitious waterproofing system lines pool wall and finished with coloured porcelain type tiles. The pool shell also has embedded lighting fixtures, drains, related conduits and pipe penetrations. A fan and filter room with its piping and mechanical services is located in crawl space under pool deck structure. The scope including but not limited to: - Carry out various extensive concrete repairs and crack repairs/ seal in the filter room and crawl space below the pool deck. - Provide all required protection, shoring and scaffolding as required to perform the work. - Complete replacement of waterproofing assembly. - Replace pool shell and deck tiles. - Replace existing deck drains. - Replace of existing skimmers / overflows, gutter drains and jet covers. - Re-seal and re-gasket existing pool lighting fixtures. - Remove, clean, store and reinstall existing pool lifeguard chair, diving board, slide, and ladder, grab rails etc. Provide all new anchors. -Remove and reinstate existing electrical and mechanical elements to accommodate the repairs/ work. - Provide inspection, testing and commissioning. - Retain a Pool Consultant from the Cash Allowance.
