Site work for a water / sewer project in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of: Constructing new PVC Waterlines being approximately 2,200 ft. of 8" PVC Class 200, approximately 7,500 ft. of 4" PVC, approximately 1,700 ft. of 2" PVC along with multiple bores using poly pipe and steel casing as well as direct bury of steel casing with miscellaneous valves and appurtenances, for the new construction of the Chickasha Bypass. This project requires Buy American, an ODOT Certificate of Materials Origin to be executed. Each proposal shall be accompanied by an acceptable form of Proposal Guaranty in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the amount of Proposal, as guaranty that if the Proposal is accepted, the Bidder will execute the Contract and furnish the acceptable Performance Bond, Labor & Maintenance Bond, Owner's Protective Liability Policy, and Certificates of Insurance within fifteen (15) days after the award of the contract. The time allowed for completion of this project is 160 calendar days for both projects. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project within the allotted time or authorized extensions thereof, shall be $350.00 per working day. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in the bidding, for the benefit of the Owner.
