The following is a general description of the work to be done under this Contract. This list is intended to give the Contractor a general description of the work involved in this Contract and is not a complete listing of all work to be done. All work shall be done in accordance with the Contract Documents even though not specifically mentioned in this list. Project Description: o This project proposes to replace the existing bridge carrying Judd Road over I-90 EB and WB (BIN 5512980) located at MP 240.48 in the Town of Whitestown, Oneida County, NY. The replacement structure has a clear roadway width of 36'-0" with two 12'-0" travel lanes and 6'-0" shoulders. The new bridge is comprised of a two-span superstructure, concrete abutments, and a median pier. The over roadway profile will be raised to accommodate a 16'-6" minimum vertical clearance. Approach roadway work includes reconstructing the approaches to each end of the bridge as required to accommodate the new bridge. Work to be done: o Provide an off-site detour with appropriate signage to be used during the bridge closure. o Remove the existing bridge superstructure and substructures per the contract plans. o Construct the new substructures. o Construct the new bridge superstructure. o Construct a stormwater treatment system and miscellaneous drainage improvements per the contract plans. o Reconstruct the approach roadways and install guide rail per the plans.
