Renovation of a residential development in Martinsville, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Base Bid: IL-69-1/Martinsville Site 'A' and Site 'C', IL-69-2/Westfield Site 'A', IL-69-4/Marshall Site 'A' and Site 'C', and Section 8 Units at Pearl Street in Martinsville. Remove the existing shingle roof system to the existing deck. Install new underlayment and shingles and all associated flashing. Install new sections of siding and fascia boards at the Section 8 units in Martinsville. Alternate Bid No. 1: IL-69-2/Westfield Site 'A': Remove existing shingle roof system to the existing wood deck. Install new concealed fastener metal roof system and all associated flashing. Alternate Bid No. 2: IL-69-4/Marshall Site 'B': Remove the existing shingle roof system to the existing deck. Install new underlayment and shingles and all associated flashing. In accordance with Article No. 4, of the Instructions to Bidders, all bids must be accompanied by a negotiable bid guarantee in the form of a certified check or bank draft, payable to the Housing Authority of the County of Clark, Illinois, U.S. Government Bonds at par value, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the Bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid. The surety company must be authorized to do business in the state where the project is located and must be acceptable to the Government. If the bid guarantee is not submitted with the bid, the PHA will reject the bid. Proposals shall be made on unaltered bid forms which are incorporated herein. All blank spaces shall be completed. Proposals shall be signed with name typed below signature. When bidder is a corporation, proposals must be signed with the legal name of the corporation followed by the name of the state of incorporation and the legal signature of an officer authorized to bind the corporation to a contract. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds acceptable to the Housing Authority all in accordance with Article No. 7, of the Instructions to Bidders. The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
