Renovation of an educational facility in Fortville, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Replacement of sections of wall panel at Mt. Vernon Middle School Bidding Instructions and Information: Bids shall be properly and completely executed on Indiana State Board of Accounts, Form 96, Re- vised 2013. Bidders shall also complete the Supplementary Bid Forms (included in the contract documents). Submit all original Bid Information and two (2) complete copies. Complete the entire Bid Form(s), including the Non-Collusion Affidavit, and the Bidders Financial Statement in- formation as part of Indiana Form 96. Bidders are required to include a Bid Bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of their Bid Price. Bidder receiving awards shall be required to provide accept- able surety in the form of a Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract. Questions regarding the project will be clarified by the Consultant Moisture Management 9855 Crosspoint Blvd. - Suite 100 Indianapolis, Indiana 46256 (317) 577-0910. Include the cost of all bonds and insurance in the bid amount. Each bid must be accompanied by a signed and completed Non-Discrimination Affidavit (or MBE-1) in accordance with any applicable Minority Business Participation Policy and Rules. Each individual bid envelope shall be individually marked "Wall Panel Bid": Mt. Vernon Community School Corporation, (Mt. Vernon Middle School) accordingly. Attention: Mr. Derek Shelton. The name of the Wall Panel Contractor and the Project Number shall be clearly indicated. Bids are to be in effect for 90 days. Metal Wall Panel replacement & restoration on Mt. Vernon Middle School as indicated in the Construction Documents. The contract will be awarded to the best responsible qualified bidder(s). Faxed bids will not be accepted. Construction Schedule: Work under this contract can commence upon May 30th , 2022. Timely completion of the work specified is an essential condition of this contract. Work is to be completed by August 5th , 2022. The Mt. Vernon Community School Corporation reserves the right to reject any and all bids; is not obligated to accept the lowest or any other Bid; and may waive any formalities in bidding procedure. The Mt. Ver- non Community School Corporation does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, national origin age, or individuals with disabilities, including limited English proficiency, in its programs or employment policies as required by the Indiana Civil Rights Act (I.C. 22-9.1), Title VI and VII (Civil Rights Act of 1964), the Equal Pay Act of 1973, Title IX (Educational Amendments), and Section 504 (Rehabilitation Act of 1973) . Remove the existing vertical metal wall panels at the perimeter of Roof Section #14 and properly prepare the existing substrate for the installation of a new vertical metal wall panel system. Include all flashings and details as required to provide a complete, watertight installation The Contractor shall provide at his expense all materials, labor, equipment, tools, and transportation, etc., necessary for successful and total completion of the intent of the Contract. Roof Section #14 Scope of Work: 1. Remove the existing vertical metal panel wall system. 2. Inspect the existing steel framing to ensure suitability for the installation of the new metal panels. 3. Install new flashing details at louvers, corners, heads, etc., as detailed to provide a complete, watertight assembly. 4. Remove the existing access ladder on the North wall and re-install after completion of the new wall panels. 5. The perimeter coping at the top of the metal panels is the responsibility of another contractor that has the current contract for the roof replacement of Roof #14. 6. The PVC membrane base flashings and metal receiver/counterflashings at the base of the wall on Roofs #7 and #10 are being installed by the roofing contractor with the current contract for replacing these roof areas, McGuff Roofing Co., (765) 289-2145. 7. The metal panel contractor will be responsible for coordinating the installation of the metal panels to sequence with the other contractor and maintaining waterproof integrity of the building during the installation. If work is coordinated after the roofing has been completed, the metal panel installer will be responsible for hiring McGuff Roofing to assist in any roofing or coping removal and replacement necessary to complete the metal panel installation in a water-tight manner. 8. The remainder of the roof flashing details on Roofs #5, #13 and #22 are part of this project and will need to be coordinated with Insley Roofing Systems, (317) 432-1948, (the original roofing contractor for these areas) or a contractor acceptable to Johns Manville (the warrantor for these roof areas). 9. This contractor is responsible for ensuring that the requirements to maintain the roofing warranty for these roof areas is not voided. 10. Install new Kynar finished insulated metal vertical wall panels equal to McElroy's Mesa Line IMP flush metal panels. 11. Provide a manufacturer's 25-year warranty for the metal panels and a 30-year finish warranty.
