Any bid received that is not a listed plan holder will be rejected. Bidders should contact the Architect with any questions at rwatkins@dicararubino.com. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-26, in order to be eligible to submit a bid for the Project, the Bidder shall be classified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction ("DPMC") as of the date and time of the bid opening in one of the following disciplines: C008 General Construction; or C009 General Construction/Alterations and Additions Additionally, as of the date of the bid opening, if the bidder is not classified by the DPMC in any of the following disciplines, the bidder shall be required to retain subcontractors that are so classified by the DPMC, which subcontractors shall be listed in the bid and all documentation provided as required by the bid specifications and applicable law. C029 Structural Steel & Ornamental Iron; and C030 Plumbing; and C032 HVACR; and C047 - Electrical Bids shall be submitted on the provide proposal forms and be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check of bid bond draw to the order of the "Linden Board of Education" of the bid, but in no case in excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00). No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening date. The Board reserves the right to reject all bids and/or waive any minor informalities or non-material exceptions or defects in the bid, as permitted by law. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.50 et seq., Bidders and their subcontractors are required to be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and to possess a current Certificate from said Department indicating compliance at the time of bidding.
