As of August 23, 2024, this project has been completed. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Salt Lake County is seeking Professional Consulting Services for the Surplus Canal Portage located at approximately 1200 W and 2100 S in Salt Lake City. Salt Lake County's (SLCo) Parks and Recreation Division is seeking Professional Consulting Services for the Surplus Canal Portage located at approximately 1200 W and 2100 S in Salt Lake City, Utah as part of the Jordan River Water Trail Portages Project. The work will consist of designing a portage (take-out & put-in ramps) to navigate around the surplus canal diversion structure. BIO-WEST, Inc. is the consultant currently working on other portages and launches for the Jordan River Water Trail, and as such, SLCo believes switching to a new vendor would be cost prohibitive as they are already familiar with the work.
