The approximate extent and character of the Work is generally described as follows: The Paulding County Water System (Owner) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to initiate the selection of a Design/Builder entity (Design/Builder) to enter into an agreement with the Owner to perform certain design and construction services. These services are to be performed using the Progressive Design/Build delivery method for constructing the Owner's Northeast Water Transmission Main as part of the distribution system. Bidders shall inform themselves concerning Georgia Laws and comply with same. All Proposals will remain subject to acceptance for 60 days after the day of the Bid opening, but OWNER may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return the Bid security prior to that date. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive formalities and re-advertise.
