Renovation of a water / sewer project in Safford, Arizona. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

This project includes the rehabilitation of the South Clarifier, located at the City of Safford's Wastewater Treatment Plant. More specifically, the rehabilitation includes the removal and replacement of the center column, refurbishing the upper and lower rakes, rebuilding the gear drive, cleaning the tank surface and weir, and coating existing metal. The Project has an expected duration of 120 days. Questions shall be received in writing up to five (5) business days before the Bid Opening. Address all questions to Chad M. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The City of Safford reserves the right to accept the lowest responsible bid; to consider alternatives; to reject any or all bids; and to waive irregularities or information in any bid. Bids received after the specified time of closing will be returned unopened. The City of Safford also reserves the right to hold any or all bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of opening. Bidders will not be allowed to withdraw submitted bids during the sixty (60) day period. The City of Safford is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
