Project Estimated Budget $2,900,000.00 Bid Bond 5% required A new electrical switchgear (SWGR), in-situ, with modern, arc-flash resistant, equipment to meet the City's desire for enhanced reliability, maintainability and safety. The services will also include the addition of a second engine generator (EG) to increase reliability in case of power failures. Improvements to the facility will include the following upgrades: - In-situ replacement of the electrical switchgear (arc-flash resistant) and engine generator control systems. - Addition of a second 1,250 kW Tier II standby EG to supplement existing in order to meet long-term power needs and future expansion. - Remove, relocate and reinstall a high-pressure relief line (12" and 14"). This includes a new 14" check valve, 14" x 12" reducer, relocated 12" lug-style industrial motor operated butterfly valve. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids/proposals in whole or in part, with or without cause, to waive any requirements, irregularities or technical defects therein, when it is deemed to be in the interest of the City. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
