All proposals shall be marked "BID FOR HAULING AND LAND APPLICATION OF LIQUID BIOSOLIDS". The City of Greenville reserves the right to accept or reject any of all bids or to waive formalities and to award the bid in any manner deemed to be in the best interest of the City. Any questions about the loading, hauling, and land application requirements may be directed to the Superintendent of the WWTP at swheat@greenvillemi.org. Scope of Work to be Performed: Furnish all labor, material, and equipment to load and haul the liquid biosolids from the City of Greenville Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), 205 Fairplains Street, Greenville, Michigan 48838, and apply to land on approved sites located within a 25- mile radius of the WWTP. The biosolids are to be hauled semi-annually from the WWTP Slurrystore storage tank. The estimated yearly total volume of biosolids is 800,000 gallons Inspection of Premises: Prior to submitting a bid proposal, each bidder shall personally inspect the Wastewater Treatment Plant premises or consult with Shawn Wheat, WWTP Superintendent, so as to arrive at a clear understanding of the work to be performed, the manner in which the conditions under which the work is to be performed, and to familiarize themselves with the hauling and loading facilities at the Treatment Plant.
